  • 35-40 chaat papdi crisps (also know as papri)
  • 1 cup plain yogurt beaten with 3-4 tbsp of water till smooth
  • 2 medium potatoes boiled and cubed
  • 1/4 cup sweet tamarind chutney (easily available in stores)
  • 1/4 cup green chutney* (recipe link below)
  • 1/4 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp chaat masala
  • salt to taste
  • a handful of chopped fresh coriander leaves for garnish
  • a handful of chopped fresh mint leaves for garnish

  • Spread the papdi crisps in a wide casserole dish, being careful to not break/crush papdi crisps as they can be fairly delicate to handle.
Spread the beaten yogurt and cubed potatoes evenly over the papdi crisps. Spread the tamarind and green chutney evenly over the yogurt and potatoes.
Sprinkle over the spices and salt evenly on top and garnish with fresh coriander and mint leaves.
  • Serve immediately.
