Hi,

Love to cook - can not bake to save my life - hence my question - your recipe says bake until done - how long do they need to be in the oven?

Going to try these this weekend, they look great!!

Hi Rose, I edited the recipe to add in the time it usually takes to cook for me. Depending on the kind of oven you're using, the time may vary. A simple way to check if the cakes are done, is simply to prick it in the middle with a wooden skewer or tooth-pick. If it comes out clean, it's cooked through. If not, give it a few more minutes. Hope this helps. I'd love to hear how it went when you try it.

I made them today and they came out really good. I've tried with regular suagr and it didn't came out foamy after repeated beating so i used it to make some sugar cookies and went ahead and followed your recipe with confectionery sugar. Thanks for sharing this simple yet yummy cupcake reicpe.

Hi,

Aww.. they look gorgeous.. i wanna bake them for a party i am having this weekend, but i have a couple of questions is it the regular sugar or the confectionery sugar and i've heard that we have to fill the cups half way long to allow the cake to raise properly is this true?? please clarify.. thanks

I've used regular sugar in this recipe. As for filling the muffin tins, I like to go 3/4th the way through so that I get a nice raised top. Hope this helps, let me know how it went! :)
