Hi! This is the first recipe on your blog that I tried and it turned out great.

We prefer slightly dry chilli chicken so I made it with very little gravy. There was only one issue, the chicken turned out slightly hard, maybe since I cooked it for fairly long (to dry out the gravy). However, I added only quarter cup water so it wouldn’t take too long. Any idea on how to prevent the hardening of the chicken the next time?

This looks great, I’m going to give it a shot this weekend. I’m thinking about using chicken stock instead of water to give it some more depth in flavor, but it sounds like it’s great just the way it is. Thanks for sharing!

I made this last night…it was AWESOME. However, mine wasn’t as dark as yours any idea why?

Hi Rosie, I’m glad you enjoyed the recipe. the colour could very well depend on the Soy Sauce used. I’m realized that some brands give out a much darker colour than others. I’m guessing that could be the case.
